SKF India, one of the country’s leading Bearings manufacturer has set up a 1-MW roof-top solar plant at its Pune facility and is expected to generate 1.5GwH units per annum. This is part of company's ongoing solar mission across its facilities in India. This initiative is expected to reduce the Pune facility’s CO2 emissions by approximately 1200 metric tons per annum. The next addition of solar capacity could come at Ahmedabad or Mysore.
