Diversified conglomerate ITC is exploring possibility to enter into the branded frozen foods segment. The foray might come at a later stage, and is also subject to availability of land for setting up cold-chains. Currently, the company exports (frozen) shrimps, but may enter the domestic branded segment.
ITC has business a interests in cigarettes, hotels, paperboards and specialty papers, packaging, agri-business, packaged foods and confectionery, information technology, branded apparel, personal care, stationery, safety matches and other FMCG products.
