DCB Bank zooms on acquiring 5.81% stake in Annapurna Microfinance

DCB Bank is currently trading at Rs 76.40, up by 3.30 points or 4.51% from its previous closing of Rs 73.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 73.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 76.50 and Rs. 73.55 respectively. So far 80309 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 150.90 on 14-Jul-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 68.50 on 21-Jan-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 73.35 and Rs. 68.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2160.24 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 16.27%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 35.56% and 48.16% respectively.

DCB Bank has acquired an equity stake of 5.81% for Rs 9.99 crore in Annapurna Microfinance. Annapurna is a growing and successful microfinance institution (MFI) focused primarily in rural locations of Odisha, Chhattisgarh & Madhya Pradesh. The bank has 14 branches in Odisha, 6 branches in Chhattisgarh & 14 branches in Madhya Pradesh.

DCB Bank is a new generation private sector bank with 176 branches in 115 locations across 17 states and two union territories. It is a scheduled commercial bank regulated by the Reserve Bank of India.
