Shriram EPC bags Rs 260-cr contract for NMDC steel plant

Shriram EPC (SEPC) had bagged Rs 260 crorecontract for installation of a byproduct complex at state-owned mining majorNMDC's 3-million tonne per annum steel plant at Nagarnar in Chattisgarh. Thetotal value of the order is Rs 488 crore, of which the value for SEPC is Rs 260crore, the company, a leading service provider of integrated design,engineering and construction services for power plants. The orderentails design, engineering, supply of plant and equipment, structural andcivil works, erection, testing and commissioning. The schedule for completionof the project is 30 months.

Shriram EPC will lead a Consortium inassociation with Hutni Project of the Czech Republic and Beekay EngineeringCorporation to complete the order.
