Infrastructure major IVRCL has bagged a Rs 1,300 crore project from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for widening the Raipur-Bilaspur road stretch in Chhattisgarh. It has bagged 127 km project for 4/6 laning of the Raipur-Bilaspur section of NH-200, to be executed as a BOT (Toll) project on a design, build, finance, operate and transfer pattern under NHDP-IV. The concession period for the project is 25 years, including the construction period of 30 months. The project corridor connects the eastern and western part of India, traversing from Nagpur to Ranchi, and includes a 9.8 km, six-lane bypass and a 44.2 km, four-land bypass, besides four major bridges. Raipur-Bilaspur NH-200 is a part of the India's largest road network, connecting Raipur in Chhattisgarh to Chandikhole in Orissa, passing through upcoming industrial areas like Bilaspur, Raigarh and Jarsuguda.
