Bank of Maharashtra expects gross NPAs to linger around 8% in FY16

Bank of Maharashtra is expecting its gross non-performing assets or bad loans to be about 8% of gross advances in 2015-16. The bank’s gross NPAs were at 7.97% of gross advances during the third quarter (October-December) of 2015-16 financial year. The gross NPAs were 7.98% and 7.86% respectively in the preceding two quarters.

Bank of Maharashtra offers several products and services in personal banking such as deposits, savings, personal loans, educational loans, demat services, credit cards, etc. The bank also offers services to agricultural and SME sectors.
