Symphony gains on plan to launch first wall-mounted air cooler

Symphony is currently trading at Rs. 2394.00, up by 21.10 points or 0.89% from its previous closing of Rs. 2372.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2429.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2429.00 and Rs. 2379.55 respectively. So far 184 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2625.00 on 10-Mar-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1649.05 on 13-Aug-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2458.75 and Rs. 2366.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 8412.33 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.00% and 13.00% respectively.

World’s largest air cooler company Symphony is all set to launch the world’s first wall-mounted air cooler under the brand name ‘Cloud’ for which the company has already applied for a global patent.

The company would be making the product at a third party manufacturing site near Pune, and plans to start with the Ahmedabad market itself, and spread across India over the course of the next few months. The company’s latest innovation is almost as good as a 1.5 tonne AC, but consuming much less power, at around 250 watt.

Symphony recognizes the importance of emerging non-traditional segments and will evolve policies and develop products to fully harness their potential, while continuing to reap strong relationships with its vast network of dealers in the traditional trade channel.
