SEL Manufacturing rises on acquiring 99.88% stake in Omega Hotels

SEL Manufacturing Company is currently trading at Rs. 11.32, up by 0.31 points or 2.82% from its previous closing of Rs. 11.01 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 11.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 11.95 and Rs. 11.16 respectively. So far 51,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 22.80 on 08-Apr-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 8.65 on 20-Dec-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 11.95 and Rs. 10.82 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 112.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 24.90% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.72% and 74.38% respectively.

SEL Manufacturing Company has acquired 99.88% stake in Omega Hotels and 51.09% stake in SEL Aviation. Pursuant to this acquisition, both Omega Hotels and SEL Aviation has become the subsidiary company of SEL Manufacturing Company.

Omega Hotels is implementing a Hotel Project at Agra in the State of Uttar Pradesh and SEL Aviation is in the business of Aviation Services and holds a Non-Scheduled Operator's Permit under the Director General of Civil Aviation, Rules and Regulations.

SEL Manufacturing Company has over 40 years of experience in the textile industry. At present, it has facilities for manufacturing cotton yarn, combed yarn, knitted fabrics, knitted garments and terry towels.
