Arvind’s online arm Arvind Internet (AIL) is planning to digitise all its 1,200 physical stores by the end of this year as part of its omni-channel strategy. With this, consumers and store managers would be able to order online and get the product delivered from a nearby Arvind store in just two hours. The company is expecting AIL to contribute about 10 percent of the overall sales of Arvind in the next 3-4 years.
Arvind is India’s largest integrated textile player and is one of the oldest and most respected groups in the Textile Business in India. The company is also one of the largest producers of denim fabrics and is supplier to a large number of fashion brands in the world.
