Axis Bank gains on entering into partnership with Vistara

Axis Bank is currently trading at Rs. 568.10, up by 8.05 points or 1.44% from its previous closing of Rs. 560.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 559.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 570.70 and Rs. 556.15 respectively. So far 1765373 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 613.40 on 16-Jul-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 366.65 on 18-Jan-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 564.40 and Rs. 540.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 135648.08 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 30.81%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 59.36% and 9.82% respectively

Axis Bank has entered into a partnership with full service carrier Vistara to launch co-branded premium credit cards. Under the partnership, the bank will offer three variants of contactless cards to its existing banking customers.

The cards come with an annual fee of Rs 1,500, Rs 3,000 and Rs 10,000 for the top-end variety and are aimed at corporate and leisure travellers and the members get free upgrades and other loyalty benefits on buying tickets with this cobranded card. Besides, the bank has a similar tie-up with the German carrier Lufthansa, this is first of its kind with a domestic carrier for it.
