Uttam Sugar Mills’ sugar unit situated at Barkatpur (Bijnore District) has started export of power to Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation (UPPCL) as per power purchase agreement executed with UPPCL. Now, all the four sugar units of the company are having co-generation facility and exporting Power to UPPCL / Uttarakhand Power Corporation (UPCL).
The company is engaged in manufacturing and marketing of double sulphated and pure white sulphurless sugar. Company manufactures sugar through world class Defeco Remelt Ion Exchange Process.
