SML Isuzu strengthens on reporting 30.3% jump in July sales

SML Isuzu is currently trading at Rs. 1340.30, up by 7.55 points or 0.57% from its previous closing of Rs. 1332.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1349.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1352.00 and Rs. 1320.00 respectively. So far 13,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1599.90 on 04-Aug-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 645.50 on 29-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1352.00 and Rs. 1192.95 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1,939.20 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 43.96%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 7.35% and 48.69% respectively.

SML Isuzu has reported 30.3% rise in July sales. The company has sold 1,368 vehicles during July 2016 against 1,050 vehicles sold in July 2015. The cumulative sales for April-June 2016 stood at 4,893 vehicles, a rise of 28.4% as compared to 3,810 vehicles sold in April-June 2015.

SML Isuzu manufactures a range of vehicles such as trucks, buses and ambulances. The company has launched products like 4WD, Samrat, Sartaj, Dual Cab, Supreme-8 tonner, Truck- Super 12, Super ALFD and many more.
