NCC slips as Blackstone’s arm trim stake in the company

NCC is currently trading at Rs. 81.95, down by 1.15 points or 1.38% from its previous closing of Rs. 83.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 83.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 83.45 and Rs. 81.70 respectively. So far 2,84,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 88.60 on 18-Aug-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 53.45 on 07-Sep-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 87.30 and Rs. 81.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4,555.86 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 20.24%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 45.23% and 34.40% respectively.

Blackstone GPV Capital Partners (Mauritius) V-A and Blackstone FP Capital Partners (Mauritius) V FII have trimmed their stake in Hyderabad-based construction company NCC to 6.99 per cent from 10.24 per cent.

The Blackstone arms have brought down the shareholding in NCC by selling 3.25 per cent or 91.8 crore shares by way of open market sales. The Blackstone Group entities have been long-term investors in the company.

NCC is engaged in development of real estate. The company’s projects stand on credentials of its work in various sectors such as Housing, Transportation, Power, water, Metals and Oil and gas.
