Redington trades with traction on the BSE

Redington (India) is currently trading at Rs. 115.30, up by 2.45 points or 2.17% from its previous closing of Rs. 112.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 113.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 116.00 and Rs. 111.75 respectively. So far 48578 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 132.00 on 24-Sep-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 95.10 on 28-Jul-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 122.70 and Rs. 108.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4625.84 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 8.20%, while institutions and non-institutions held 63.70% and 28.10% respectively.

Redington India, distributors for electronic major Apple in the country, will start offering the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, beginning on October 7. The product is expected to be offered in 3,000 retail locations across the country and the launch will be done through special events at select stores in key cities.

Redington was one of the major distributors for Apple products, though the latter has added one or two other distributors in the country in the past. The company also distributes Apple products in United Arab Emirates and Nigeria.
