Shriram EPC surges on bagging order worth Rs 74.26 crore

Shriram EPC is currently trading at Rs. 26.00, up by 2.80 points or 12.07% from its previous closing of Rs. 23.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 23.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 27.80 and Rs. 23.00 respectively. So far 2,81,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 38.55 on 06-Jan-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 19.00 on 08-Jun-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 27.80 and Rs. 22.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 859.63 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.03%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 42.53% and 7.44% respectively.

Shriram EPC has bagged order worth Rs 74.26 crore from the Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (CMWSSB), Chennai for providing Comprehensive Water Supply Scheme to Pallikaranai and Mugalivakkam areas in Chennai City. The said project is expected to be executed over a period of 24 months.
