RBL Bank has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2016.
The Bank has reported 34.30% rise in its net profit at Rs 89.89 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 66.93 crore for the same quarter in the previous year on the back of robust business growth and exceptional income despite higher provisions in July-September quarter. Total income of the bank has increased by 37.91% at Rs 1071.04 crore for Q2FY17 as compared Rs 776.65 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
The Bank’s gross NPA for the July-September quarter of the current fiscal increased to 1.10%, as compared to 0.93% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 0.55% in Q2FY17. However, Asset quality improved on sequential basis as gross non-performing assets declined to 1.10% from 1.13% and net NPA fell to 0.55% from 0.66%.
