Fire broke out at Forbes & Company’s Tungsten Carbide Rotary Burr (TCRB) section of Chandivli factory of the engineering division of the company on April 21, 2012. There was no human casualty. Presently the fire-affected section has been quarantined and electrically isolated from rest of the plant, which is functioning normally.
Further, the Insurance Surveyors have carried out the survey and the extent of damage will be known after detailed study.
