Bharat Heavy Electricals has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2016.   

The company has reported net profit at Rs 109.00 crore for the quarter under review as compared to a net loss of Rs 180.78 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 8.65% at Rs 6860.53 crore for the quarter under review as compared Rs 6314.56 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

BHEL is India’s largest engineering and manufacturing company of its kind. It is a power plant equipment manufacturer and operates as an engineering and manufacturing company.
