Ashok Leyland reports 7% rise in November sales

Ashok Leyland, the commercial vehicle manufacturer, has reported an increase of 7% in November 2016 sales to 9,574 units, as against 8,971 units sold in the same period of last year.

The company has experienced a jump of 10% in its medium and heavy commercial vehicle (M&HCV) products segment to 6,928 units in November 2016, as compared to 6,297 units in November 2015. Light commercial vehicle (LCV) of the company registered sales of 2,646 units in November 2016 as against 2,674 units in November 2015.

Ashok Leyland, the Hinduja Group flagship company in India, is engaged in the manufacturing of commercial vehicles and related components. The company’s products include buses, trucks, engines, defense and special vehicles.
