The company has reported a net loss of Rs 50.73 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016 as compared to a net loss of Rs 82.82 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The company’s total income decreased by 51.48% to Rs 308.37 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 635.61 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
RattanIndia group, having net worth of more than $1 billion, is a business conglomerate with business interests in power generation, cement and mining. RattanIndia Power is developing coal based thermal power projects Amravati and Nasik in Maharashtra.
