Kaveri Seed Company has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2016.
The company has reported a net profit of Rs 7.74 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016 as compared to a net loss of Rs 48.17 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The company’s total income has increased by 22.51% to Rs 84.81 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 69.23 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Kaveri Seed Company, one of the leading seed companies of the country, is engaged in production, processing and marketing of seeds to farmers. It provides seeds for different crops like corn, sunflower, cotton, paddy, and grain sorghum. It products also includes micro-nutrients and bio products.
