SML Isuzu surges on reporting 16.4% jump in December sales

SML Isuzu is currently trading at Rs 1146.00, up by 19.35 points or 1.72% from its previous closing of Rs. 1126.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1139.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1157.45 and Rs. 1139.40 respectively. So far 1881 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1433.85 on 31-Aug-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 645.50 on 29-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1,157.45 and Rs. 1,058.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1658.45 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 43.96%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 7.40% and 48.64% respectively.

SML Isuzu has reported 16.4% jump in December sales. The company has sold 1021 vehicles during December 2016 against 877 vehicles sold in December 2015. The cumulative sales for April-December 2016 stood at 10,943 vehicles, a rise of 19% as compared to 9,196 vehicles sold in April-December 2015.

SML Isuzu manufactures a range of vehicles such as trucks, buses and ambulances. The company has launched products like 4WD, Samrat, Sartaj, Dual Cab, Supreme-8 tonner, Truck- Super 12, Super ALFD and many more.
