Kirloskar Industries’ subsidiary - Kirloskar Ferrous Industries (KFIL) has completed the up-gradation of Mini Blast Furnace (MBF-I) situated at Koppal Plant, Karnataka and has commenced the commercial production effective from January 17, 2017.

Earlier in September, the company had shut down one Mini Blast Furnace situated at Koppal Plant, Karnataka for around 85 days on account of up-gradation work.

Kirloskar Industries is a holding company engaged in the manufacturing of iron castings. The company’s segments are Wind power generation; Investments (Securities and Properties), and Iron Casting.
