Bank of Maharashtra strengthens on inking pact with Future Generali India

Bank of Maharashtra is currently trading at Rs. 32.85, up by 0.35 points or 1.08% from its previous closing of Rs. 32.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 32.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 32.95 and Rs. 32.30 respectively. So far 52,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 37.40 on 07-Jul-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 25.00 on 09-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 32.95 and Rs. 29.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3,820.45 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 81.61%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 13.36% and 5.03% respectively.

Bank of Maharashtra (BOM) has entered into a corporate agency tie-up with Future Generali India Insurance Company (FGII) to sell its products. With this tie-up, BOM's customers will be able to avail of motor, home, shopkeeper and rural insurance products at any of the 1,896 branches of the Bank.

Bank of Maharashtra offers several products and services in personal banking such as deposits, savings, personal loans, educational loans, demat services, credit cards, etc. The Bank also offers services to agricultural and SME sectors.
