Bharat Heavy Electricals has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2016.

The company has reported net profit of Rs 93.54 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2016 as compared to net loss of Rs 1084.96 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 17.52% at Rs 6461.22 crore for the quarter under review as compared Rs 5498.07 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

BHEL is India’s largest engineering and manufacturing company of its kind. It is a power plant equipment manufacturer and operates as an engineering and manufacturing company.
