DLF declines on reporting 46% fall in Q3 consolidated net profit

DLF is currently trading at Rs. 141.20, down by 6.30 points or 4.27% from its previous closing of Rs. 147.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 143.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 143.75 and Rs. 140.30 respectively. So far 509406 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 169.60 on 19-Aug-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 83.00 on 25-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 152.05 and Rs. 140.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 25109.71 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.95%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.16% and 6.89% respectively.

DLF has reported a net profit of Rs 170.90 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2016, as compared to net loss of Rs 181.73 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 149.18% at Rs 1135.37 crore for the quarter under review as compared Rs 455.64 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.       

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 46.11% fall in its net profit after tax, minority interest and share of profit of associates and jointly controlled entities at Rs 98.14 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2016, as compared to Rs 182.11 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 29.96% at Rs 2177.90 crore for the quarter under review as compared Rs 3109.64 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
