TCPL Packaging skyrockets on reporting 92.36% rise in Q4 net profit

TCPL Packaging is currently trading at Rs. 45.00, up by 5.00 points or 12.50% from its previous closing of Rs. 40.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 40.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 47.70 and Rs. 40.85 respectively. So far 10021 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 52.85 on 02-Aug-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 34.45 on 30-Dec-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 47.70 and Rs. 36.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 39.15 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 48.70% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 8.66% and 42.64% respectively.

The company has posted a rise of 92.36% in its net profit at Rs 3.02 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 1.57 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 18.34% at Rs 78.20 crore for quarter under review as compared Rs 66.08 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011

For the full year ended March 31, 2012, the company has posted a rise of 22.61% in its net profit at Rs 7.70 crore for the year ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 6.28 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income has increased by 17.96% at Rs 283.34 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 240.20 crore for the period ended March 31, 2011.
