Force Motors jumps on reporting 38-fold rise in Q4 net

Force Motors is currently trading at Rs. 477.45, up by 11.30 points or 2.42% from its previous closing of Rs. 466.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 509.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 538.00 and Rs. 465.00 respectively. So far 32,511 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 825.00 on 05-Jul-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 387.50 on 19-Dec-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 538.00 and Rs. 450.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 622 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.75% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 6.32% and 41.94% respectively.

The company has posted a rise of 3714.81% in its net profit at Rs 798.44 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 20.93 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 23.21% at Rs 611.42 crore for quarter under review as compared Rs 496.23 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011.

For the full year ended March 31, 2012, the company has posted a rise of 1306.46% in its net profit at Rs 824.33 crore for the year ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 58.61 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income has increased by 33.24% at Rs 2085.00 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 1564.79 crore for the period ended March 31, 2011.
