Against stiff competition, Emco managed to bag a prestigious order for the complete power transformers package, worth Rs 161.2 crore from NTPC for their Maudra Super Thermal Power Project-II (2X660 MW) and Solapur Super Thermal project (2X660 MW).
The package comprises supply, installation and commissioning of 35 nos. transformers of various ratings including 14 nos.260 MVA, 420KV, 1-hase generator transformers and 3 nos.200KVA, 400 KV, 3 phase Auto Transformers. This order is amongst the largest single order for this rating of generator transformers in India.
EMCO is engaged in manufacturing of transformers, transmission towers, meters and also works as Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) contractor providing services in Transmission & Distribution (T&D) segment.
