Tata Global Beverages reports 56% fall in Q4 net profit

Tata Global Beverages has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2012.

On the standalone basis, the company has posted a fall of 56.19% in its net profit at Rs 29.32 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 66.92 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income has increased by 8.03% at Rs 481.80 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 445.97 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011

On the consolidated basis, the company has posted a fall of 36.40% in its net profit at Rs 54.21 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 85.24 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income has increased by 10.30% at Rs 1753.02 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1589.25 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011

For the full year ended March 31, 2012, the company has posted a rise of 67.61% in its net profit at Rs 302.68 crore for the year ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 180.59 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income has increased by 10.67% at Rs 2129.38 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 1924.08 crore for the period ended March 31, 2011.

On the consolidated basis, the company has posted a rise of 40.03% in its net profit at Rs 356.14 crore for the year ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 254.33 crore for the same period in the previous year.  Total income has increased by 10.25% at Rs 6725.68 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 6100.36 crore for the period ended March 31, 2011.
