Menon Bearings surges on reporting 37% rise in Q4 net profit

Menon Bearings is currently trading at Rs. 82.35, up by 1.40 points or 1.73% from its previous closing of Rs. 80.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 81.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 84.00 and Rs. 80.00 respectively. So far 41806 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 93.00 on 30-Aug-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 46.36 on 24-Jun-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 84.20 and Rs. 75.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 465.13 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.67%, while non-institutions held 25.33% stake in the company.

Menon Bearings has reported a rise of 36.56% in its net profit at Rs 5.79 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 as compared to Rs 4.24 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 7.77% at Rs 31.76 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 29.47 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016.

For the year ended March 31, 2017, the company has posted a rise of 29.21% in its net profit at Rs 19.24 crore as compared to Rs 14.89 crore in FY16. Total income of company increased by 10.79% at Rs 122.92 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 110.95 crore for the year ended March 31, 2016.
