Kotak Mahindra Bank reports 33% rise in Q4 consolidated net profit

Kotak Mahindra Bank has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2017.

The company has reported a rise of 40.34% in its net profit at Rs 976.48 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 as compared to Rs 695.78 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 9.85% at Rs 5434.65 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 4947.32 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016.

On consolidated basis, the company has posted a rise of 33.08% in its net profit after taxes and minority interest at Rs 1404.34 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 as compared to Rs 1055.23 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY16. Total income of the company rose 25.83% at Rs 9953.57 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 7910.41 crore for the same quarter ended previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2017, the company has reported a rise of 63.25% in its net profit at Rs 3411.50 crore as compared to Rs 2089.78 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 11.47% at Rs 21176.09 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 18996.42 crore for the period ended March 31, 2016.

For the year ended March 31, 2017, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted a rise of 42.83% in its net profit at Rs 4940.43 crore as compared to Rs 3458.85 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company increased by 21.20% at Rs 33905.44 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 27974.52 crore for the period ended March 31, 2016.
