SML Isuzu reports 45.3% fall in April sales

SML Isuzu has reported 45.3% fall in April sales. The company has sold 768 vehicles during April 2017 against 1,404 vehicles sold in April 2016.

275 BSIII vehicles have been returned by customers/dealers during April 2017 (not adjusted in above) pursuant to Supreme Court judgment pronounced on March 29, 2017, banning sale of BSIII vehicles post April 01, 2017. As the sales return is out of vehicles sold before March 31, 2017, appropriate adjustment is carried out in the books of accounts for FY 2016-17.

SML Isuzu manufactures a range of vehicles such as trucks, buses and ambulances. The company has launched products like 4WD, Samrat, Sartaj, Dual Cab, Supreme-8 tonner, Truck- Super 12, Super ALFD and many more.
