KKR to lend Rs 125 crore to Bharat gears: Report

Global alternative investment management firm KKR & Co is reportedly in talks to lend about Rs 100-125 crore to Bharat Gears, India’s largest automotive gear manufacturer. If concluded, this will be KKR’s first deal in the domestic term loan market.

Bharat Gears (BGL) is a gear manufacturing company. The company manufactures a wide range of gears for HCV, MCV, LCV, utility and off-highway vehicles. The products includes bevel, straight bevel and transmission gears.
