Goa Carbon has temporarily shut down operations at its Bilaspur Plant located at Sirgitti Industrial Area, Bilaspur (Chattisgarh) for maintenance work from May 5, 2017. There would not be any financial impact due to the temporary shutdown of the company's Bilaspur Unit as there is sufficient inventory to service the orders in hand.
Goa Carbon is a public limited company and is in the business of manufacture and marketing of Calcined Petroleum Coke. The company is a regular supplier to aluminium smelters, graphite electrode and Titanium Dioxide manufacturers, as well as other users in the matallurgical and chemical industries.
