UCO Bank slips on reporting net loss of Rs 588.19 crore in Q4FY17

UCO Bank is currently trading at Rs. 38.80, down by 2.75 points or 6.62% from its previous closing of Rs. 41.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 39.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 39.60 and Rs. 38.10 respectively. So far 517172 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 46.60 on 15-Jul-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 29.50 on 09-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 43.85 and Rs. 38.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6114.13 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 76.67%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 15.99% and 7.34% respectively.

UCO Bank has posted a net loss of Rs 588.19 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017, as compared to a net loss of Rs 1715.15 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank decreased by 17.67% at Rs 3906.74 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 4745.48 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016.

For the year ended March 31, 2017, the Bank has posted a net loss of Rs 1850.67 crore as compared to a net loss of Rs 2799.25 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of Bank decreased by 8.52% at Rs 18440.29 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 20157.28 crore for the period ended March 31, 2016.
