The Exchange had sought clarification from Ballarpur Industries with respect to news article appearing on moneycontrol.com on May 23, 2017 titled ‘IDBI MF drags Ballarpur Industries to Company Law Tribunal over default on commercial paper.’ The company replied stating that the media report pertains to a subsidiary of the Company and accordingly, the Company i.e. Ballarpur Industries is not involved in the said matter. The Company shall make appropriate disclosure in accordance with applicable laws at an appropriate time and presently there is nothing to disclose under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The Exchange has sought further clarification from the company.
