Everonn likely to invest Rs 700 crore in 3 yrs to set up training centers

Everonn education services company likely to invest Rs 700 crore in the next three years to set up training centers in the country embarking on a vision of training 15 million students in India by 2022.  Presently the company has about 23 development centers across India and aims to increase it to 70 by year-end. The company expected to increase theses centers to 270 centers in the next three years.

The company also plans to set up 12 Master Resource Centers [MRCs] across India. Master Resource Centers are being set up through a joint initiative with National Skill Development Council (NSDC) in which Everonn holds majority stake of 74% and the balance with NSDC. The MRCs are aimed in training trainers on sectors such as retail, health care, information and communication technology, construction. The company will open three more MRCs in Hyderabad, Bangalore and Ahmadabad this financial year. It will invest about Rs 3.5 crore to Rs 4 crore in setting each such centre.

In addition to training the students, the centers will bring in best practices in simulated training and also be an incubation centre for new ideas and training methodologies.
