Bharat Gears trades with traction on the bourses

Bharat Gears is currently trading at Rs. 139.40, up by 3.50 points or 2.58% from its previous closing of Rs. 135.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 138.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 140.45 and Rs. 137.20 respectively. So far 7643 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 170.75 on 06-Oct-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 74.50 on 02-Jun-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 140.45 and Rs. 113.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 108.63 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 52.98%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.08% and 46.94% respectively.

Bharat Gears (BGL) has received an approval to avail a term loan of Rs 110 crore from KKR India Financial Services. The said loan will be used for repaying some of the existing term debts, working capital requirements and capital expenditure, among others. The Finance Committee of Board of Directors at their meeting held on May 31, 2017, has approved for the same. 

BGL is a gear manufacturing company. The company manufactures a wide range of gears for HCV, MCV, LCV, utility and off-highway vehicles. The products includes bevel, straight bevel and transmission gears.
