Apparel firm, Provogue India has registered fall of 70.81% in net profit at Rs 1.81 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2012 as against Rs 6.20 crore in the same period in the previous fiscal. The company’s net sales for the quarter under review fall marginally by 2.80% to Rs 162.02 crore as compared to Rs 166.69 crore in the same period previous year.
For the full year, the company's net profit declined 25.06% to Rs 25.03 crore from Rs 33.40 crore in 2010-11 however, its net sales in 2011-12 increased 7.82% to Rs 593.07 crore from Rs 550.07 crore in 2010-11.
The company’s board of directors has recommended a dividend of Re 0.10 or 10% per equity share of face value of Re 1 each for the financial year 2011-12.
