Redington slips with promoter selling 5 percent stake in the firm

Redington (India) is currently trading at Rs. 134.70, down by 1.05 points or 0.77% from its previous closing of Rs. 135.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 137.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 138.20 and Rs. 133.90 respectively. So far 10,48,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 155.35 on 05-Jun-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 79.70 on 09-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 138.90 and Rs. 123.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5,389.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 8.20%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 52.05% and 39.75% respectively.

Redington (India’s) promoter Harrow Investment Holding has offloaded around five percent stake in the firm for Rs 250 crore through an open market transaction. The firm has alliances with brands like Apple, Samsung, LG and Panasonic, among others.

Harrow Investment Holding has sold 1.99 crore shares or 4.98 per cent stake in Redington (India) at an average price of Rs 125, valuing the transaction at Rs 249.37 crore.
