Country’s largest private sector lender ICICI Bank, on consolidated basis, reported 31% jump in net profit at Rs 1,902 crore for the fourth quarter of the 2011-12 fiscal. It had profit of Rs 1,452 crore in the January-March quarter, 2010-11. Moreover, its total income increased to Rs 11403 crore, from Rs 8797 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
The bank has reported 15.46% jump in its consolidated net profit at Rs 1810.27 crore for the fourth quarter of the 2011-12 fiscal. It had profit of Rs 1567.93 crore in the January-March quarter, 2010-11.During Q4, its total income increased to Rs 19,300.53 crore, from Rs 18,178.99 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal, up by 6.17.
For the full year, on consolidated basis, the bank has posted a surge of 25.43% in its net profit at Rs 7642.94 crore for the year ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 6093.27 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income has increased by 8.22% at Rs 66658.28 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 61594.70 crore for the period ended March 31, 2011.
