DCB Bank gains on reporting 39% jump in Q1 net profit

DCB Bank is currently trading at Rs. 203.15, up by 1.00 points or 0.49% from its previous closing of Rs. 202.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 206.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 206.00 and Rs. 202.75 respectively. So far 38,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 213.00 on 16-Jun-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 98.05 on 15-Jul-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 206.00 and Rs. 190.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6,267.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 15.02%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 43.03% and 41.94% respectively.

The Bank has reported 38.68% rise in its net profit at Rs 65.22 crore for first quarter ended June 30, 2017, as compared to Rs 47.03 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank increased by 22.81% at Rs 651.80 crore for Q1FY18 as compared Rs 530.75 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

The Bank’s gross NPA for the April-June quarter of the current fiscal increased to 1.74%, as compared to 1.72% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 0.92% in Q1FY18.
