Dhampur Sugar Mills gains on making additional investment in Ehaat

Dhampur Sugar Mills is currently trading at Rs. 233.10, up by 3.45 points or 1.50% from its previous closing of Rs. 229.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 231.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 233.50 and Rs. 227.00 respectively. So far 37896 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 256.60 on 21-Apr-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 96.05 on 09-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 233.50 and Rs. 200.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1539.53 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 49.08%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 5.03% and 45.89% respectively.

Dhampur Sugar Mills has made further investment of Rs 2 crore in Ehaat by way of subscribing 20,00,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each at par on Rights basis. The company holds entire 37,70,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each in Ehaat and it continues to be wholly owned subsidiary of the company.

Dhampur Sugar Mills is engaged in manufacturing sugar, ethanol, chemicals and plantation white sugar.
