SBI trades higher on the BSE

State Bank of India (SBI) is currently trading at Rs. 306.15, up by 2.30 points or 0.76% from its previous closing of Rs. 303.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 303.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 307.45 and Rs. 302.30 respectively. So far 447012 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 315.00 on 19-May-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 224.40 on 12-Aug-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 312.00 and Rs. 297.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 263407.02 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.97%, while institutions and non-institutions held 32.79% and 9.25% respectively.

SBI is planning to raise Rs 2,000 crore by allotting 20,000 AT1 Basel-III compliant non-convertible, perpetual, subordinated bonds in the nature of debentures to various investors. Bonds will carry a coupon rate of 8.15 per cent per annum with a call option after 5 years or the anniversary date thereafter. The committee of directors accorded its approval on August 3, 2017, for the same.
