Punj Lloyd inches up on bagging EPC Railway Contract worth Rs 478 crore

Punj Lloyd is currently trading at Rs. 19.00, up by 0.05 points or 0.26% from its previous closing of Rs. 18.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 18.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 19.15 and Rs. 18.35 respectively. So far 147568 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 28.30 on 15-Sep-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 16.90 on 09-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 21.90 and Rs. 18.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 637.35 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 35.80%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 7.22% and 56.98% respectively.

Punj Lloyd has won an EPC Railway Contract worth Rs 478 crore for 108.75 km of doubling work between Phulera - Degana in Rajasthan, awarded by North Western Railway. This is the first EPC contract awarded by North Western Railways for Doubling of BG line.

The scope of work entails composite works of construction of 2nd railway line with civil infrastructure work, track work, signaling and telecommunication work. The project site falls between Jaipur - Jodhpur section.
