Punj Lloyd surges on bagging order worth Rs 870.15 crore

Punj Lloyd is currently trading at Rs. 24.60, up by 1.85 points or 8.13% from its previous closing of Rs. 22.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 23.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 24.75 and Rs. 23.00 respectively. So far 16,79,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 28.30 on 15-Sep-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 16.90 on 09-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 24.75 and Rs. 18.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 825.20 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 35.80%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 7.22% and 56.98% respectively.

Punj Lloyd has been issued the Letter of Award (LOA) in respect of construction and commissioning of balance/left out Canal work including Cross Drainage Structures & Design for Gosikhurd National Project in Bhandara, Nagpur and Chandrapur Districts of Maharashtra for VIDC, Phase - I / Pkg - I by NBCC (India) for a total contract value of Rs 870.15 crore.
