Raymond has decided to launch its sub-premium mass market fabrics range “Makers” as a pan-India brand by this year end. At present, the brand has presence in the eastern markets of West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand and Orissa, in north and south Indian markets of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh.
The company plans to roll out Makers brand in Gujarat and Rajasthan. The brand has an entry price range of Rs 120-130 per meter for shirting, while poly viscose fabrics are priced between Rs 250 to 400 per meter.
The entity competes with the brands such as Siyarams, Vimal and Grasim in the mass market fabrics segment.
