Polaris Consulting touches the roof on plan to delist from stock exchanges

Polaris Consulting & Services is currently trading at its upper circuit limit of Rs. 291.05, up by 48.50 points or 20.00% from its previous closing of Rs. 242.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 279.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 291.05 and Rs. 267.60 respectively. So far 154030 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 291.05 on 26-Jun-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 141.10 on 09-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 291.05 and Rs. 218.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2988.26 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.42%, while institutions and non-institutions held 11.06% and 14.53% respectively.

Polaris Consulting & Services has decided to delist from the stock exchanges to provide the company operational flexibility. If the delisting proposal is successful it would provide an exit opportunity to public shareholders.

In March 2016, Virtusa Corporation acquired a majority interest in Polaris Consulting Services, which was earlier promoted by Arun Jain.
