Ashok Leyland has reported a jump of 3% in October 2017 sales to 12,914 units, as against 12,534 units sold in the same month of last year. The company reported a drop of 5% in its medium and heavy commercial vehicle (M&HCV) products segment to 9,110 units in October 2017, as compared to 9,575 units in October 2016.
The light commercial vehicle (LCV) segment of the company registered sales of 3,804 units in October 2017, a jump of 29%, as compared to 2,959 units sold in October 2016.
